We build and repair decks for homeowners throughout the Las Vegas valley, everything from a simple ground-level platform to a raised deck with stairs and a full railing system. Most of us came out of general carpentry or framing work, and decks are where the framing, the finish work and the outdoor living part all come together in one job.
If you are on this page, chances are a board has cupped, a railing post has started to lean, or the whole structure just feels less solid than it used to. Sun and heat do that to decks out here faster than people expect, especially to lumber that was not sealed on all six sides before it went up. We rebuild the framing where it has actually failed instead of just covering it with new boards, so the fix holds instead of hiding the problem for a season.
None of this is complicated. It is mostly just doing what we said we would do.
We carry the insurance and licensing this trade requires, and we will show you the certificate before we start. If a subcontractor ever touches your project, they are covered too.
Decks over 30 inches off grade need a permit and inspection in most of the valley, and we handle that paperwork. We will not talk you into skipping it to save time, because an uninspected deck can come back to bite you at resale.
We measure the site and give you a number in writing, broken down by material and labor. No verbal estimate that changes once the lumber is ordered.
The people framing your deck are the same people who show up to trim it out and stain it. That keeps the work consistent and means nobody is pointing fingers if something does not line up.
We will walk you through pressure-treated pine, cedar and composite decking and tell you honestly what holds up in this climate. Composite costs more up front but does not need restaining every year or two like wood does out here.
We try to frame and pour footings in the cooler months when concrete cures better and crews are not fighting 115-degree afternoons. If you want a deck ready for a specific event, tell us early and we will build the schedule around it.
